This past week I attended a seminar delivered by Jack Lannom. I was extremely impressed with the seminar on many levels.
First, there is Jack Lannom himself. He is energizing, motivating, funny, insightful – a powerful embodiment and mirror of the principles and behaviors he expounds.
Second, there is the material itself. As a former consultant of Human Capital Management, I kept saying, “Amen…” both externally and internally as Jack spoke about his fundamental philosophy to transform both professional and personal lives.
With marvelous language skills – including metaphors such as “leading with a baton” instead of “leading with a bat” -- dynamite presentation skills and incredible interactive demonstrations reflecting his martial arts proficiency, Jack presented a system based on principles and core competencies.
Third, Jack provided practical solutions, easily learned strategies, and quickly internalized visual keys (e.g., “The Pyramid of People Power”) to ensure that insights achieved and lessons learned through his presentation can be easily implemented both in one’s workplace and in one’s personal life. Too often, seminars and presentations have a powerful immediate effect, but no follow-through learning or behavior takes place. With Jack’s presentation, we participants learned a logical ideology/philosophy plus the strategies/behaviors to implement the system into action.
I am so very thankful to have been a part of Jack’s seminar, and it’s now my goal to read everything he has ever written.

I attended one of Jack's seminars out in Kansas about a year and a half ago. I have not forgotten it since and would love to be able to see him again. Jack makes you laugh, cry, scream and shout and just let go! I will never forget it!

I just attended another of your sessions from your “The Leader’s Leader” seminar. . I just wanted to drop you a line and tell you what an honor it is for me to attend your sessions. I have had the distinction of sitting under men and women of greatness in large and small settings in my life. And when I am in the room with you, I feel I am listening to a man of greatness, one that I will see on TV very soon and tell people that I had the privilege and honor to be trained by him personally. I was on the path to being a very sad statistic. I have sat under some of the best teaching on leadership and vision that anyone on the planet could. I have heard a lot of the catch phrases “Leaders are readers”, “You aren’t a success until you have a successor” and so on. The sad part is I have waded out into the depths of my career and slowly grafted to a survivors mentality. I don’t live the Logos that I was trained to live. I am not the leader that I would want to work for. I have failed to be what I was created to be. That has begun to change since I have started attending your seminar. You have not only rekindled the passion inside of me to be the best leader and example I can be. You have reminded me of the truths of leadership I have learned and forgotten years ago along with teaching me your insight and wisdom on this crucial topic.
I know that no one man could accomplish everything you are doing right now. And I just wanted to send this email to encourage not only yourself, but also your purpose partners that what you are doing is working and worth it. Not only are you affecting my life, but the lives of my family, , and the youth who are the leaders of tomorrow. It is a blessing to have you placed in . I am a better man, a better husband, and a better leader because of you and your organizations commitment to put people first. Thank you for everything. Living the Dream,
Charles Small
Your passion for your mission, your love for people, and your commitment to truth, wisdom and excellence is a combination that results in a powerful message which challenges people to step up to the plate of personal responsibility. You have a unique ability to captivate, inspire, and change the lives of people you come into contact with. Never before have I witnessed such a direct and immediate impact on the lives of myself and my colleagues (purpose partners); a testimonial to your talent and effectiveness. I want to let you know that you have made a positive difference in my life, and that of my family. For this I am very grateful.

Jack and Debbie, it was a tremendous blessing, privilege, honor and just a great time to have Jack come to California this week.
I must tell you how much this meant to me; when Marisa and I left Jack at the airport terminal and as we pulled away, I literally sobbed.
I know the visit and seminar for Compass was a success. I believe it is the beginning of many things to come.
I know Jack will be used again, as well as throughout the world. You are awesome!

Jack, I want to thank you for your great course. I have been to 14 years of college, 500 graduation hours at six different colleges. Never have I been so stimulated to higher levels of achievement and impressed with your multiple ways of presentation. You are truly a mans man and gifted with a wonderful insight.
I agree 100 % with your philosophy and thank God for your work.

Along with Dr. Williams, I want to express my thankfulness and gratitude of having the opportunity to attend your recent seminar at Fort Myers. The knowledge, insights, and resourceful information has been a tremendous learning experience for me. As I reflect back to these sessions and apply them daily to my life, I find challenges easier to hurdle, the ability to communicate and work with others has become a definite asset. The steps learned and applied to my life have given me a new meaning to put God and people first in my life.
If our generation had been given these insights and knowledge, we would be living in a better United States and a better world.Thank you again,
James Hutto
The other day I was discussing the Walu boot camp with Jack, which lead into my role at JX Enterprises. I have been General Manager of JX Enterprises Peterbilt truck dealership in Madison, Wi for 6 years. A few months back I was promoted to a new role in our company as the Corporate Service Leader in addition to being the General Manager of our Madison location. As Corporate Service Leader I'm charged with improving consistency and overall performance at all of the service depts. for JX Enterprises which includes seven additional locations in two states that employee 150+ people in those depts. Some of my peers have asked me how I do it? My response: "What I've learned through martial arts training has been a key element in my ability to handle the duties related to my dual role".

I just wanted to thank you for the incredible presentation last week and for the book. I read it over the weekend and now my wife has it. I also taught one of my girls the Y6. We go through it every night! I passed on your information to both my brother and to a contact at the book company (LHE). I also reached out to Carol for our company mission/philosophy. After she gets mad it me for asking, I hope it will lead to some positive energy around here. In the meantime, I will continue to fight the fight in my world.

I am writing because I want to let you know my impressions of Jack Lannom's recent leadership seminar conducted at AEC One Stop Group, Inc., in which I participated. I have known Jack for well over twenty years, since he was my Kung Fu instructor some twenty-four years ago. I had not seen him in about fifteen years, and I was pleasantly surprised to see him at the door as I entered the board room for the seminar.
The seminar was terrific! Jack is a very motivational and high energy speaker. That motivation and that energy are-and were-contagious. He fired up the whole room. Of course it not just his style and his sincere enthusiasm that make Jack an effective speaker and trainer. It is also the message. I teach Organizational Ethics in the graduate business school at Lynn University in Boca Raton, and I know something of Ethics and Ethics training. The concept of ethical business practices does not mean only doing things in an honest way; it also means treating people like the human beings that they are. A good portion of what Jack was teaching, values and vision, resonated with me because I understand the value of promoting a culture and a vision of ethical business practices within a company. The enthusiasm for instilling such values seems to come out of Jack's pores. He really does believe and live breath what he talks about, and it is apparent as he speaks.

"Jack, I have to tell you this: To be honest, I didn't know what to expect that day we attended your seminar, but in the middle of your lecture, I actually floated up to the top of ceiling...now that ceiling is about 20 feet high...so when you were at your very peak, I flew up to the middle of the ceiling and I SAW my unlimited potential...I already knew I had a good memory but doing all these memory exercises, all of a sudden, it opened up a whole new world of possibilities....I realized that music is such a small thing, I could do literally ANYTHING... and then I floated back down, and I thoroughly enjoyed the rest of your seminar. I left, feeling that I'm on the right path here!"
